Steps to Setup Dahua NVR Remote Viewing

Before starting, ensure your Dahua NVR or DVR is online and connected to the internet.

1. Download and Install SmartPSS Lite

• Open your web browser and search for SmartPSS Lite.
• Access the official Dahua website or a trusted software repository to download the SmartPSS Lite installation file.
• Once the download is complete, run the application and follow the installation wizard.
• Accept the software agreement and click install to finalize the setup on your computer.

2. Initial Software Configuration

• Launch the SmartPSS Lite application after installation.
• Set a strong password for the software to ensure the security of your surveillance data.
• Complete the security questions to help with future password recovery if needed.
• Agree to the terms and conditions to access the main interface.

3. Retrieve Device Serial Number (SN)

• Open the DMSS app on your mobile phone where the device is already added.
• Tap on the three dots icon next to your device and select Device Details.

• Go to the Devices section in SmartPSS Lite and click on the Add button.
